Historical Cliffside Walk with Bert Curtis, commencing at Merbein Rotary International Drive, passing through the Pioneer Plantation, Garden of Memory continue along Cliffside Walk to Chaffey Landing.

Special Display on loan from Museum Victoria: The Blandowski Expedition of 1857, a collection of amazing specimans of flora and fauna. This display can be viewed at Hill Corner Reception Rooms, opposite Chaffey Park, corner of River Avenue and O'Reilly Street, Merbein, open daily.

Bookings are essential
Book through the Merbein Centenary Office at 91 Commercial St, Merbein. Bookings by no later than 3.30 pm Tuesday 18th August.
The walk will be approx 5 kilometres and take 4 hours with a light snack / lunch provided. There will be interpretative stations manned along the way to describe the history and explain the general area.
A bus will be available for those that are dragging the chain and cannot make it back to the start. Walkers are encouraged to bring some drinking water. A drink will be available with the lunch snack.
Sturdy foot wear and a hat are essential, this is essentially a walk in the bush, some of the area is on a walking track mostly flat but not like a walk in the town. Drop toilet is available half way along the track.
Assemble on the North end of Foster St Merbein off Chaffey St, limited car parking will be available on Foster St, and Chaffey Street. Groups to leave at 15 minute intervals from 8.45 am until 10.00am, when the last group will leave. Groups limited to 15 per group.

Start North end of Foster St car parking is not plentiful, more parking will be available on Chaffey St. Welcome, introduce the walk, Safety requirements.
