Activities during the week to include:

Open all week: At Centenary Office - Model Paddleboat Display, "NAB Merbein Faces |& Places"  Photographic Competition Winning Entries and Historic Display.

Open all week: The magnificent RSL photo display of ex-Servicemen & Merbein District Historical Society will both be open from 10 am to 4 pm daily.

Open from Monday 17th - 11.00am till 4.00pm.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Historic Blandowski Expedition of 1857                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              As a part of the Merbein Centenary Celebrations, find out Who is this Blandowski Bloke? That’s right a selection of the panels from Blandowski’s Expedition to the Murray – 150th Anniversary Exhibition held in 2007 and screening of the DVD Blandowski’s Specimens.  The exhibition is on loan from the Museum Victoria and the Mildura Arts Centre will be installing it for public viewing at Hill Corner Reception Rooms, cnr. River Avenue and Reilly Street (opposite Chaffey Park) Merbein.  Entry will be free with tea and coffee available for purchase. An initiative by Museum Victoria, Mildura Arts Centre and the Merbein Centenary Committee

Blacksmith's Memorabilia - Tools & Equipment on Display at Cuppers - Game Street, Merbein. Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th August: Times: 10-12 noon and 1.00 to 3.00 pm.

CSIRO: Open Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th August, 1.00 - 4.00 pm.  Display of Scientific, Horticultural Projects.

Dried Vine Fruit & Table Grape Property Open Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th August, afternoons.  Dichiera Vineyard - see modern horticultural practices, modern irrigation methods.

Merbein Pumping Station  Open Wednesday 19th August from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, Thursday 20th August from 10.00 am to 12 noon. Lower Murray Water.

Tuesday 18th August:  Historical Cliffside Walk with Bert Curtis, 9.45am to 12 noon, taking in Chaffey Landing, Pioneer Plantation. (More information - refer Historic Walks)

Wednesday 19th August:  A Walk on the Merbein Common with Julian Raudino of Department Sustainability & Environment,  9.30 am - Flora, Fauna, Birds, History. (More information - refer Historic Walks)

Tuesday 18th August, afternoon & Thursday 20th August, morning:  Winery Tour (old Mildara site) now Australian Vinage, Actual starting times to be advised - check at Centenary Office.

Wednesday 19th August:  10 am to 12 noon: Uniting Church Centenary "Cent Sale" at Uniting Church Hall.

Wednesday 19th August: Guide Hall, Box Street, Merbein - Afternoon Tea.

Merbein's Chaffey Aged Care is a beautiful new centre, one that the community is very proud of.  You are welome to drive through to view the buildings and grounds, but tours will not be possible as we need to be mindful that it is now "home" for the residents and we need to respect their privacy.

Merbein Secondary College: Open for inspection, Saturday 22nd August, 11 am to 1.30 pm.
