Centenary Celebrations - August 14th to 23rd, 2009

An Invitation is extended to all present and former residents and friends of the Merbein Community to join in the 10 day program of festivities. 

The Centenary Committee is a sub-committee under the auspices of the Merbein District Historical Society Inc.

Merbein - One of the first State Owned Pumped Irrigation Districts.  Est. 1909.

Accommodation:  Visitors advised to book early, as Masters Games being held in Mildura 16-23 August 2009. Mildura Visitor Information and Booking Centre 5018 8380.

Family Stories

The Centenary committee has received a number of requests from former residents to record their family story.  Whilst this is a wonderful idea it is rather difficult for the already busy committee to oblige.

The committee asks that representatives of a family group submit their “Family Story” by downloading and completing the form below.  These stories will be displayed in a folder at the Merbein Historical Centre during the Centenary Celebrations.
